- Rec Complex (west on 6th street, one half mile - soccer & softball) The calendar of events should be reviewed prior to pick up games being planned to ensure the fields are free.

- Rotary Lake (off highway 75, east of the wellness center) – a pond size lake for fishing. The lake has a cement walking path around it
- Golf – Auburn Country Club – A local nine hole course
- Wellness Center (intersection of highway 75 and 6th street)
- Bowling 1818 Central Ave – the west edge of Auburn. The bowling alley was opened in 2005

The Auburn City Recreation Committee is comprised of a group of community area volunteers who donate their time
and talent to provide recreation and activity based programs for the youth of Auburn and Nemaha County.
The Auburn City Recreation Committee is appointed by the Mayor of Auburn and approved by the Auburn City Council. The following are current members:
